Aircraft transactions, handled end to end.
Every engagement is scoped personally and delivered by professionals with years of experience in aviation sales, maintenance, and operations.
Five practices, one accountable team
Avion Air Group works the way an advisory firm should: a defined scope, a single point of contact, and a documented process from first brief to delivery.
Buy-side representation, start to close
We define the mission, shape the shortlist, and run the diligence so the aircraft you sign for is the aircraft you actually need.
- Mission and budget analysis
- Global market search and off-market sourcing
- Records, pre-buy, and inspection oversight
- Offer strategy, LOI, and closing coordination

A complete
transaction desk.
Each client has unique requirements. Engagements are scoped personally and delivered by professionals with years of experience in aviation sales, maintenance, and operations.
Comparable sales, absorption, and residual-value context so pricing decisions rest on evidence rather than sentiment.
Records review, maintenance status, damage history, and program enrollment assessed before capital is committed.
Letters of intent, purchase agreements, escrow, and delivery conditions negotiated on your behalf.
Introductions to lenders and advisors, including working-capital and tax structuring where a transaction requires it.
Complete solutions on either side of the transaction, for private and commercial airframes alike.
Continuity after closing — operational introductions, management guidance, and ongoing fleet counsel.
How a mandate
actually runs.
Most aircraft transactions fail on sequence, not on price. Ours follow a documented order of operations, with a written record at every gate so decisions are reversible before money moves and defensible afterwards.
- 01
Discovery & mandate
We start with the mission, not the airframe: typical stage lengths, passenger loads, runway and airport constraints, crewing preference, and the ownership horizon. That brief becomes the written mandate everything else is measured against.
- 02
Market mapping
We build the comparable set — listed inventory, aircraft quietly available, and recent trades — then rank candidates on records quality, maintenance status, program enrollment, damage history, and true acquisition cost rather than asking price.
- 03
Offer & structure
Letter of intent, deposit terms, inspection scope, and delivery conditions are drafted to keep leverage with you. We coordinate counsel, escrow, title, lender, and tax advisors so no term is agreed in isolation.
- 04
Technical diligence
Pre-purchase inspection at a facility we can stand behind, with discrepancy lists triaged into airworthiness, contractual, and cosmetic categories — and negotiated accordingly before acceptance.
- 05
Closing & delivery
Funds flow, registration, import or export paperwork, insurance binding, and ferry planning are sequenced to a dated closing checklist. You get one advisor accountable for every line on it.
- 06
Ownership & exit
After delivery we stay engaged: budget tracking against actuals, management and charter reviews, program renewals, and a standing view on when the market favours your exit.
Your next aircraft should be the right one.
Acquisitions are won long before an inspection. We build the case for the airframe that fits your mission, then defend your position through closing.
Range, payload, runway, and ownership economics before any airframe is considered.
On- and off-market candidates surfaced, screened, and ranked.
Records, maintenance status, damage history, and program enrollment.
LOI, escrow, pre-buy oversight, and delivery conditions negotiated for you.

Considering selling your aircraft?
Strategic representation designed to position your aircraft effectively — evidence-based pricing, controlled exposure, and a closing process managed end to end.
Request a Confidential ConsultationMore than a broker.
A transaction is one moment in a long ownership arc. We advise across the whole of it — before, during, and well after the aircraft changes hands.
Residual-value context and comparable analysis behind every number we present.
Terms, escrow, and delivery conditions handled by people who close aircraft.
Introductions to lenders and tax advisors when structure matters.
Management, operational, and fleet counsel that continues after closing.

Aircraft financing through our channels.
Most acquisitions we handle are financed in some form. We can arrange funding through established lending relationships so capital, diligence, and delivery move on the same timeline instead of holding one another up.

- Lender access through our channels
- We introduce clients to aviation-specific banks, non-bank lenders, and private credit desks we have closed with before — institutions that understand airframes, engine programs, and residual values rather than treating an aircraft as generic collateral.
- Structures that fit the mission
- Fixed and floating term loans, balloon and amortising structures, operating and finance leases, sale-leaseback, and progress financing on pre-owned acquisitions. We help you compare true cost, not headline rate.
- Packaged the way lenders want it
- Credit desks move fastest when the aircraft story is clean. We assemble specification, status, records, valuation support, and usage projections so underwriting has what it needs on the first pass.
- No undisclosed referral economics
- Introductions are made because the terms are right for you. Any compensation arrangement is disclosed in writing before you speak with a lender.
Financing is arranged through third-party lenders. Avion Air Group is not a lender and does not provide credit, tax, or legal advice; all terms are subject to lender approval.
What we tell clients
before they sign.

Pricing is set by records, not by rhetoric
Two same-year airframes can trade millions apart. Complete, continuous logbooks, engine and APU program enrollment, no damage history, and a fresh inspection status are what a serious buyer pays a premium for — and what a seller should invest in before going to market.
Exposure should be controlled
Broad, indiscriminate listing tells the market an aircraft is available to anyone; it also creates a visible days-on-market clock. Targeted outreach to qualified operators and their advisors protects both price and privacy.
Cost of ownership is a model, not a number
Fixed costs, variable hourly reserves, crew, hangar, insurance, and program escalation belong in one model with your real utilisation. That model — not a broker's brochure — tells you which category you should actually buy into.
Timing beats haggling
Inventory levels for a given class move faster than individual negotiations. Entering the market when comparable supply is thin is usually worth more than any concession won at the table.
What an engagement looks like in practice
- How are you compensated?
- On a single, agreed fee disclosed in writing before the mandate begins — a success fee on sell-side work, or a flat or capped fee on acquisitions. We do not take undisclosed payments from the other side of a transaction, from inspection facilities, or from lenders we introduce.
- Do you only handle business jets?
- No. Mandates run from single-engine and turboprop aircraft through light, midsize, and large-cabin jets, and we support commercial airframe transactions where a client's operation requires it.
- How long does a transaction take?
- An acquisition typically runs six to twelve weeks from mandate to delivery, depending on how quickly the right airframe surfaces and how the pre-purchase inspection goes. Sell-side timelines depend on class and comparable supply; we give you a candid view of both at the outset.
- Will my interest stay confidential?
- Yes. Buyer identity is withheld until terms warrant disclosure, and sell-side campaigns can run entirely off-market to a vetted list rather than public listing services.
- Can you work with our existing counsel, lender, and management company?
- Routinely. We coordinate the parties you already trust and only make introductions where a gap exists — tax structuring, escrow and title, insurance, or a management and crewing solution.
- What do you need from us to start?
- For a sale: logbook and records status, current inspection and program enrollment, total time and cycles, and any damage history. For an acquisition: typical missions, passenger count, budget envelope, and your ownership horizon.
Begin a confidential conversation.
Whether you are evaluating a first acquisition or repositioning an existing airframe, the conversation starts the same way — privately, and without obligation.
