How we calculate this

Market stats: Active listings, days-on-market, and year-to-date comparable sales are compiled from published business-aviation listing exchanges, broker network feeds, and reported transactions. Figures are refreshed periodically and rounded for display.

Your estimate: We use your tail registration to identify the aircraft make/model/year, then layer in total time, equipment, engine/APU programs, maintenance status, and recent comparable sales to produce an estimated market range. It is not an official appraisal, but it will give you a much better idea of where you stand in the market place from a 3rd party.

What Drives The Number

What we look at behind your tail number.

Two aircraft of the same year and model can trade millions apart. These are the factors that decide which side of the range yours sits on.

Airframe & engine status

Total time, cycles, inspection position, engine and APU program enrollment, and any time remaining or due within twelve months.

Records & damage history

Continuity and quality of logbooks, AD and SB compliance, and disclosed damage — the single largest swing factor between two otherwise identical aircraft.

Specification & equipment

Avionics generation and mandates, connectivity, interior and paint age, seating configuration, and options buyers in your class actually pay for.

Live market position

Current listings in your make and model, absorption and days on market, and closed comparable sales rather than asking prices.

What You Receive

What comes back to you.

No portal, no automated email. An advisor reviews your aircraft and replies directly.

An estimated value and range
A realistic number with a high and low band, so you can see where a negotiation would likely land rather than a single optimistic figure.
Comparable activity
What has recently traded and what is competing against you today, including how your specification stacks up against it.
A candid recommendation
Sell now, wait a quarter, refurbish first, or hold. Sometimes the right answer is not to transact — we will say so.
Next steps if you want them
A scoped sale-side proposal, an acquisition brief, or an introduction to financing through our channels if you are trading up.
Valuation Questions

Is this a formal appraisal?
No. It is a market opinion prepared by advisors who transact in these aircraft daily. It is not an official appraisal and should not be used for lending, insurance, or litigation purposes — but it will give you a much better idea of where you stand in the marketplace from a third party.
Why do you only need the registration number?
The registration lets us pull airframe identity, serial number, model year, and registration history. From there we layer in market data and our own transaction record. Anything you add about status, programs, and highlights sharpens the range.
How long does it take?
SPECTRE 2.0 requests are returned as a detailed written report within 72 hours. Most come back sooner; complex or rare types and foreign registries use the full window.
Will I be added to a mailing list or chased?
No. One advisor responds, and the conversation goes only as far as you want it to. Your registration and details are not shared with third parties or listing services.
Can you help if I want to trade up rather than sell outright?
Yes. We handle both sides on the same timeline and can arrange aircraft financing through our lending channels so the acquisition does not wait on the disposition.
